Earth's atmosphere is made up of 5 layers. It protects us from impacts and keeps out types of solar rays allowing life as we know it. It wasn't always this way, in fact, early Earth had no atmosphere at all.

The Water Cycle
The water cycle is a continuous cycle that drives many processes on Earth. The cycle descibes the continuous movement of water above and below the surface of Earth.
Water Cycle Notes:
Cloud Formation: Through the process of evaporation and transpiration, water moves into the atmosphere. Water vapor then joins with dust particles to create clouds. Eventually, water returns to Earth as precipitation in the form of rain, snow, sleet and hail. All clouds contain water vapor.
